My Top To Dos Around Magic Kingdom Park
Ask any Walt Disney World fanatic about “can’t miss” experiences around the parks and resorts, and you’re sure to get a range of suggestions. For everything from food, to attractions, to shops, the parks and their respective resorts offer a magical experience for every kind of visitor. Today, I want to share a few of my musts around Magic Kingdom!
Take a Ride Through Tomorrowland
One of the most relaxing ways to experience Magic Kingdom Park (or at least one land), is to take a ride on the PeopleMover, also known as Tomorrowland Transit Authority. This leisurely-paced attraction shuttles you all around Tomorrowland (and even through Space Mountain!) giving you an elevated view of some of your favourite attractions, and is an ideal way to rest your feet at the same time!
Treat Yourself!
No trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a few sweets to help power you through the day. Make sure to stop by the newly remodelled Main Street Confectionery and pick up a freshly made caramel apple, Rice Krispie treat, or one of the many other delicious options.
And, if you’re sticking around for Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime spectacular, Enchantment, make sure you book a dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace. Not only will you enjoy treats made just for the party, but you’ll also have a reserved viewing area for the show!
People Watching
Just like the PeopleMover is a great way to rest your weary feet and get some good views of the park, finding a nice shady spot anywhere around Magic Kingdom Park is a great way to relax and do some people watching. I love to do this around Halloween and the holidays as kids and parents alike are decked out in their Disney best!
See It, Like It, Want It, Get it!
Of course, no trip to Magic Kingdom Park would be complete without a souvenir (or more!) to help commemorate the trip. And, with the park’s 50th Anniversary in full swing, there are countless options to explore! My biggest go to’s for souvenirs are shirts (the funnier and cuter the better!) and pins. If you’re not aware, pin trading is huge around the resort, so it’s always fun to pick up a couple new pins and even trade some of yours with cast members or other guests around the parks.
